The occupation trilogy: The famine No 1

Athens, December 1941.
The city is immersed in the nightmare of the great famine. An SS captain who is investigating a case on behalf of Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels is brutally murdered at the Hotel Great Britain.
The investigation of the murder is undertaken by Lieutenant Nikos Agrafiotis, who returns to active action after the status of availability that was set after the theft of the swastika on the Acropolis.
